Blastgreen has been working in close partnership with the Salcombe Harbour Authority to devise a system which prevents the residues from pressure washing activities entering the estuary ecosystem. Salcombe, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) is one of the first to trial this new ‘closed loop’ system.

Adrian explains the closed loop system is one of the first of it’s kind, specifically designed to contain, capture and allow for the safe disposal of all contaminated materials, anti-foul, hydrocarbons etc. from re-entering the estuary.

Blastgreen, working in partnership with their agent in Finland, Procoat Paint OY www.procoatpaints.fi exhibited at this year’s FINNBUILD International building and building services exhibition in Helsinki. Lots of interest was generated from visitors from all around the Scandinavian and Baltic region helped by having one of our latest BG100c mobile blast machines on the stand.
