
Graffiti is one of those sad facts of modern life that’s unlikely to go away in our lifetime. Removing it can be time-consuming and expensive, costing the taxpayer hundreds of thousands of pounds every year.
Of course, graffiti is not the only problem that councils face; chewing gum and general urban grime are equally unattractive and just as tricky to remove.
